Computer and network security is critical to the research and instructional mission of the College. The threat of lost productivity and lost data must be met with reasonable measures that balance security with usability.
IT Shared Services is promoting the use of technology to best manage the security of the several thousand computing devices in the College. ITSS purchased Tivoli Endpoint Manager(TEM)/BigFix for every inventoried device and is in the process of rolling out installation. TEM performs software inventory and software patching functions for the college.
